Kamio Misuzu Collage

Air is a series about a girl named Kamio Misuzu. She has a strangely child-like attitude towards life and befriends a boy named Kunisaki Yukito. It is later revealed that she has a condition that causes her to emotionally break down whenever she gets close to someone. The series deals with this issue, among others and is a well done piece by Key/Visual Arts.

This small sketch was just a rough one. It's done in a semi-realistic style. I tried to make the eyes a little bigger as a blend between manga-style and realism. There really isn't much to say about this piece.

This is another one, done with more detail and a more interesting pose. One of the themes in the series Air is the dream that Misuzu always has, which involves flying in the sky. As such, she is seen sometimes, imagining that dream on the beach, wind blowing through her hair.
